Protect metal with a stage-two 'capping'
In addition to protecting the tile and glass surfaces in the shower, the 2nd stage of the Diamon-Fusion® process can 'cap' the metal with a protective coating that is used in the Diamon-Fusion® process. Because the first-stage of the 2-stage Diamon-Fusion® process bonds only to silica, metals are not compatable with that first stage. However, the 2nd stage does bond to the metal and imparts protective properties to the metal surface that makes is easier to keep clean and requires less effort in doing so.
